Cloud Infrastructure Consultant with over 7 years of professional experience in the information technology arena. Current experience with AIS includes Azure information systems development, operations, troubleshooting, and deployments. Since joining AIS, I have been providing infrastructure consulting on programs for the U.S. Airforce and the U.S. Army and have been instrumental in automating processes, as well as integrating security and compliance requirements. The environment consists of several Azure data resources as well as Windows and Linux virtual machines. Terraform is utilized to deploy these resources in a repeatable fashion. Also utilizing GitHub Workflow pipelines to automate the deployment of our Terraform configurations. These pipelines include Yaml, Powershell, and Bash commands. Previously, I was assigned to the Air Force enterprise “Data Integration Platform” (DIP) project. Responsible for building, automating, deploying, and troubleshooting multiple Azure environments using CI/CD DevOps methods. Maintained and updated PowerShell scripts, ARM templates, Runbooks, DSC, TFS Builds/Releases, and STIGS within Azure Government environments.Prior assignments included tasks for the Air Force enterprise “Common Computing Environment” (CCE) program. On this project I managed the Azure US Government side of the cloud service provider environment and was responsible for the maintenance and sustainment of the platform, automation optimization, overall health monitoring, reporting and alerting.

• Responsible for implementing, maintaining, monitoring and securing application databases and backup/recovery processes. Specifically maintained Benefit Determination and Claims Processing systems. Participated in Disaster Recovery Exercise for DB2/IMS.• Gathered customer requirements, designed solution, implemented process for Cost and Budget IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator (IDAA) utilization on tight deadline.• Analyze database environments to improve inefficient and costly access paths to data. • Participated in IMS, DB2, and IDAA software version upgrade verifications.• Responsible for review of database environments to ensure security controls and audit requirements are met to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. • Responsible for mentoring new hires for the DBA team as well as representing BCBS in recruiting activities at USC to evaluate IT students interested in positions at BCBS.• Provide extensive after hour On-Call support for DB2 and IMS projects and processes.

• Attended entry level training program provided by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. • Completed program at the end of August with an overall GPA of 94%. • Training included: Overview of BCBS technical environment utilizing TSO/ISPF, the Toolbox, SDSF, Endevor, Max/Data/Util, Smart Test and other tools and utilities used by BCBSSC. • Coded multiple step JCL jobs with GDGs, Procedures, Symbolics, and RESTARTs. • Used utilities such as IEBGENER, IEFBR14, IDCAMs and SORT.• Designed, coded, compiled and debugged COBOL and APS programs and subprograms and added these programs to Endevor. • Utilized Trans Century to format and verify dates. • Used APS to generate detail, control break and summary reports as well as how to build packages to system and quality test programs.

• Assigned to Leveraged Systems Reporting Department.• Rebuilt extraction tool to improve ability to utilize trouble ticket information and provided necessary documentation and training to staff members for changes implemented. These changes reduced daily processing runtime by 95%.• Rewrote monthly reporting program to automate the process of updating all Excel documents used to generate the reports. This process previously done manually required several hours to complete. The same task is now accomplished in less than 5 minutes.• Streamlining these 2 functions saved BCBS of SC two work days each quarter.
