Manufacturing Planner
CurrentProduction Ordering •Work with MRP system to manage requirements for all production facilities as well as requirements for product needed for Service order fulfillment. Create and release manufacturing work orders accordingly; distribute job packets and prints as necessary. •Expedite manufacturing orders to accommodate requirement changes due to sales changes or inventory changes due to scrap, quality issues, or inventory adjustmentsChange Management•Dictates new ECM effectivity dates based on current machine release horizon, stock levels, and lead times•Determines optimal execution plan for Deviations with cross functional teams•Contribute to the development and execution of production planning for non-standard production parts•Create, maintain, and close out job numbers for nonproduction builds•Contribute to the development of the release strategy and horizon, and execute to help minimize scrap and waste through the factory•Perform BOM & routing updates for non-standard service parts•Verify BOM accuracy before order release of new models•Identify root cause for missing/incorrect components and develop strategy for recovery and root cause solutionInventory Control• Maintain MRP settings and nightly runs• Audit closed work orders and inventory transactions for errors • Work with production leaders and supply chain on safety stock levels and min/max order quantitiesProcess Improvement• Participate in department and cross-functional process improvement teams.• Drive process improvements in production efficiencies, inventory accuracy, and lean manufacturing.
