Responsible for developing and leading the strategy and project management for the Lawson HRIS implementation across BSHSI encompassing 9 health systems and 18,000 employees, inclusive of Manager and Employee Self Service.Scope of responsibilities: Process and policy standardization, vendor management, work plan development and adherence, testing and validation, implementation, personnel, budget, and project communications for Enterprise Resource deployment. Responsible for leading communications and developing the organizational change strategy; working closely with Local Systems operations executives to manage the change required for successful execution of the HR-PR Business model. Develop and manage multiple capital budgets for the project, working collaboratively with Finance to produce monthly capital and operating expense budget status reports, project budget forecasts, proposed annual budgets for multiple implementations with supporting rationale and documentation.

Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Human Resources Department for two campuses, and eight off-sites, both union and non-union for 1300 employees.Develop and manage system-wide programs including benefits/compensation, salary administration, succession planning, HRIS integration, recruiting, policies and procedures, employee and labor relations, employee health and assistance programs.Formulate strategy and lead contract negotiations with multiple unions. Provide direction in administration and interpretation of union contracts, employee relations, arbitration and union avoidance training.

Team management of employee/labor relations for 800 employee, unionized manufacturing plant and four non-union satellite customer service centers.Responsible for human resource administration, recruitment and staffing, compensation/benefits, FMLA, EEO/AAP, management development, college recruiting, training, discipline, grievance handling, contract negotiations and arbitration.Provide counsel to Executive, management/supervisory personnel to resolve operational/employee issues.Member of the Division Diversity Task Team charged with development/implementation of division-wide diversity and cultural enrichment initiatives.

Managed entire employee/labor relations function for five manufacturing facilities, union and non-union, totaling 480 employees.Directed compensation/benefits, EEO/AAP, succession planning, college recruiting and employee training programs with accompanying budgetary responsibilities.Provided HR onsulting to primary facilities in support of the company’s strategic operating plan to improve management consistency and reduce operating costs.Responsible for labor contract negotiations, arbitrations and union avoidance. Consultant for resolution of labor issues including contract interpretation, grievance resolution and discipline resulting in a 40 percent reduction in grievances.Coordinated, directs and managed first plant opening in 25 years.Evaluated and maintained appropriate staffing levels in accordance with succession planning and company recruiting strategies resulting in a 25 percent employee turnover reduction.
