Manager, Master Control
CurrentManage the overall operations of the largest specialty Master Control in Canada. I am responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, and quality control of 47 specialty and conventional television channels originating from Corus/Quay Media Services. This includes the key role of enhancing operational procedures, policies, system workflows, and equipment, while also enhancing management reporting metrics. I have been a key stakeholder in developing operational systems by determining system requirements and implementation plans, leading change management, while developing processes for utilizing equipment, workflows, and employees.Key responsibilities: Serving as a company representative on regulatory (CRTC/CBSC) issues. Training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; developing and motivating staff. Participating in strategy planning and execution of productivity, quality and customer-service standards; auditing for regulation. Manage relationships with key operations vendors and clients. Participating in department budget planning.
