Leading and managing deugro group's global activities in the Offshore Energy vertical including Wind (fixed and floating), Tidal and Wave across the current and future client portfolio, as an experienced Industry Specialist with a background in logistics, procurement, strategy, process implementation, technical logistics and complex Offshore Energy contracts within multiple supply chain levels working within the Offshore Energy industries.

Was responsible for the full tender process, from business development to a fully signed contract: • identifying future projects, clients and partners that are relevant for Boskalis (BOS) • developing, fostering and maintaining client relationships, continuously ensuring client is fully aware of current and future capabilities, via: client visits, lunch & learn or workshop presentations, attending and/or presenting at conferences • developing, fostering and maintaining subcontractor relationships to be able to provide the best solutions to the client • ensuring BOS is involved at a very early stage in the project to assist client and - if truly beneficial to the client/project - steer client’s approach in a way that would place BOS in a favorable position • if required performing the vendor pre-qualification process for the client • receiving and providing initial high level technical, commercial and legal review of the tender to verify the relevance for BOS and presenting this to upper management during the go/no-go meeting if deemed relevant • in case of a GO, managing the tender which consisted of: splitting the tender in to work packages and distributing these to the appropriate departments; providing local knowledge on regulations, potential partners & subcontractors, developments that may affect the tender process and client expectations to the tender team during the bidding process; and providing all required commercial input • assisting the tender team with local and commercial input during contract negotiations • receiving and analyzing client feedback and identify areas to improve the quality and success rate of the tender process.

Provided engineering support for dry heavy marine transportations which consisted of: • supporting the commercial and tender teams with technical feasibility studies and providing technical support during client visits in the tender phase • managing the generation and timely submittal of documentation required from other engineering disciplines • preparing all technical documentation required for the vessels to safely load, transport and discharge the cargo • field engineering support during load-out and load-in of the cargo • identifying areas of improvement and creating new templates and methodologies to shorten the technical preparation phase while increasing the quality and consistency of the deliverables.

Provided engineering support to all business units within the SMIT company (towage, offshore installations, subsea IRM, salvage and offshore wind) which consisted of: • structural design of seafastening and verifying vessel/barge structural strength using FEMAP • design of deck layouts • calculating vessel/barge motions and resulting motions and derivatives on the equipment/cargo, and mooring and stationkeeping calculations using Rhino, GHS, MOSES and Orcaflex • lifting and rigging engineering • preparing various towing, lifting, installation, mobilization and demobilization manuals • preparing technical procurement documentation • point of contact/engineering support during fabrication of seafastening and outfitting of the vessels/barges • field engineering during offshore execution.
