For the past 17 years I have worked in the Network Control Center for Maxwell/Gunter AFB. Primary duties assigned were overseeing the feed and care of both the NIPR & SIPR network along with filling the role of Node Site Coordinator for the base.• Extensive knowledge with configuring, troubleshooting, and refreshing Cisco routers and switches• Extensive knowledge of DISA STIG’s pertaining to a network environment• Cisco IOS and NX-OS platforms• Managing shop ticketing system (Remedy) and interfacing with customers across Maxwell AFB – Gunter Annex• Managing base /16 IP address allocation• Extensive knowledge of EIGRP and OSPF and interaction with BGP• Cisco ISE 802.1x implementation/feed and care• Deployed wireless network and access points• Configure and monitor DHCP Server• SolarWinds Network Management tool• Project management of high-level installs: creating Communications List of Materials (CLOM) and Network Implementation Plan (NIP), completing project once equipment/materials are received or managing sub-contractors if outsourced.• Various General Dynamic TACLANe models – with and without VLAN license configurations• Manage COMSEC account supporting SIPR TACLANE equipment with use of SKL to manage firefly keys for the network• Performed Node Site Coordinator duties for the base: Records management, telecommunication service request, review & revalidation, project overview with equipment refresh, and accountability of DISN equipment• Installing racks, patch panels preparing cable pathways, installation of network cabling cat6 and fiber• Overseeing daily operations of the Network Operations shop guiding/assisting shop personnel

Daily duties were overseeing all of the Gunter Annex Network Control Center NIPR and SIPR Infrastructure needs. • Managed the shop ticketing system and work load factors that came with it• PMI of network communications closets• Installation of racks, patch panels, preparing cable pathways, and network cabling cat 5/5e, fiber optic cabling• Performed site surveys and installations, trouble-shooting, test and Integration of various proprietary equipment items such as routers, switches, and associated hardware from Cisco Systems.

Duties included the installation of SIPRnet on Air Force installations around the world. Once on site I would assist with the installation of adding new SIPR locations across the base. When in town I would report to the local warehouse and build out upcoming installs getting them ready to ship.• Installation and configuring of Cisco 2950 routers, KIV-7 encryption devices, and Fom40 modems• Infrastructure cabling consist of fiber optic, Cat 5e, and serial cables• Installation of 2 post network racks and wall-mount shelves with wooden backboards
