•Managed a global fleet of computers necessary for the remote operation/analysis of hydrogen fuel cell plants (through Windows 7, working toward a Windows 10 migration)o Including a 6 month regimented maintenance schedule include antivirus scanning (managed in part from a central server), definition updates, Windows updates, etc.o Independently started project to upgrade Windows 7 computers from 32-bit to 64-bit•Troubleshot issues with automation software such as Iconics, Proficy, Cimplicity, Historian, etc.o Up to and including full remote reinstallation of softwareo Regularly modifying .csv files to deploy via Historian to update the data points being monitoredo Testing deployment of automation projects to Programmable Logic Controllers on a self-designed test bed•Created and successfully presented to upper management Powerpoint presentations regarding the costs and specifications of upgrading operating system (Windows 7 to Windows 10), hardware and software•Created an expansive MS Access database to accurately record each computer’s information, such as serials/licenses, maintenance schedule, automation project versions, software versions, spare licenses, etc.•Created a daily report regarding plant data and power generation using OSISoft PI software and add-ons for Microsoft Excel•Reduced turnaround time for failed field computers from 3 or 4 days to 24 hours using individual imaging for each unit, thus partially eliminating data loss and increasing monitoring capability•Used ticketing software as part of Microsoft Dynamics AX to adequately keep track of actions taken on individual computers, including aforementioned maintenance, replacements, troubleshooting, etc.•Created and updated HTML page allowing easy connection to each plant’s individual iBoot power switch from the company’s global monitoring center via our SCADA network•Configured and managed Red Lion Data Stations to provide customer data on their network while isolating the local network
