Department of Transportation and Works: Marine Services Division

Responsible for generating 3D building models using the Autodesk Revit LT program. These drawings are used for acquiring prices from sub-contractors and to allow clients to view a preliminary design of their building.

Worked in project coordination for the heavy construction and mining group. Responsible for submitting time for daily labour and equipment hours. Ensured bills were submitted to the client correctly and on time. Maintained haul truck performance for ongoing projects. Developed Excel-based loading unit productivity tracker for major units.

Worked in the Metallurgy group under the Chief Metallurgist. Responsible for daily and weekly sampling of flotation circuit, particle size analysis, and bench scale flotation testing. Developed operating procedure for bench scale flotation testing.

Worked in Operations, under the Terra Nova Scheduling Lead. Assisted in cost analysis, POB management and began implementation of electronic based filing system for service requests.

Worked in Operations, Cost & Planning for the Terra Nova FPSO. Responsible for compiling and distributing reports regarding outstanding maintenance work.

Assisted a masters student by researching the different algae used in the biosorbtion process. Conducted various experiments, testing variables such as pH and concentration, on the biosorbtion of silver ions.
