I am truly blessed to have had, in my humble opinion, a perfect industry growth experience. Growing up in the elevator industry, I took calls with my dad when I was 13-15 years old. I had my own opportunity when I was 16 to service elevators on the beaches of Daytona. I installed a duplex hydraulic system as a teenager and at 21 years old, became an area GM in Atlanta, GA during the Olympics. These experiences have provided me a very diverse industry perspective.I have spent 1/3rd of my career in the field, 1/3 in middle management & 1/3rd in executive management and now as a Founder and an Entrepreneur Business Owner.I spent 10+ years in the field drilling holes, installations, MODs, repairs, service and my favorite field experience—adjusting/engineering.The next 10+ years I spent in various management positions beginning as a Supervisor in 1999, quickly moving into a Service Manager role, then an Operations Manager and GM.My most recent 10+ years have been spent as a President of an Elevator Company, starting my own Elevator Business as an Owner/Operator, becoming the President/CEO, then Founder/Strategic Planning/Business Advisor.I served on the Board of Directors to the NAEC and was selected as their President for 2023-'24.I am the Founder of Elevator Strategic Hub—a hub dedicated to providing elevator entrepreneurs with the tools they need to scale their businesses. I am also the creator of The Elevator Entrepreneur Podcast, available to stream from the Elevator Strategic Hub App, Apple, and Spotify.
