About Sean C. Rush

He is also an active constituent in the World Economic Forum, and is deeply engaged in development of the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy in Nairobi, Kenya, a tuition-free secondary school for girls in Africa’s largest slum.For more than three decades, as a business/not-for-profit leader, consultant, and author, Sean has developed and delivered innovative ideas on higher education; economic development; and organizational strategy, leadership, and operations. He is the author, editor, or contributor to 20+ books and articles on the mission, governance, leadership, and operations of institutions of higher learning. In 2004, Sean was awarded the Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award by Boston College’s Carroll Graduate School of Management. He was the year 2000 honoree of the Boston College Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (the national honor society for students of management). He is presently Co-Chair of the Harvard Kennedy School Fund and has been an active participant in the World Economic Forum.Sean holds an M.P.A. from the Harvard Kennedy School, an A.B. and M.B.A. from Boston College and an M.S. from Boston University.
