Led staff of seven finance professionals. • Directed North America region’s sales and marketing spending to maximize operating earnings growth while ensuring that the Transitions Brand was properly invested in to drive growth. - In 2013, drove Selling and Marketing spending decrease (% of sales) and return on sales % increase resulting in operating earnings growth of 13% on a sales volume increase of 6%. • Managed TOI’s response to Florida Department of Revenue Sales and Use Tax Audit. Result was $1.6MM refund. • Led an enhanced budgeting process to review Transitions North America sales and marketing spending to ensure that investment were made to maximize ROI. • Collaborated with IT and Logistics team to develop process for invoicing upon receipt of product for TOI’s largest customer resulting in the elimination of accounting entries and more timely and accurate reporting of product shipments. • Brought on new external auditors to support changing requirements of parent companies prior to ownership change. Result was a clean audit report and a $75K reduction in audit fees. • Developed new banking relationships to support TOI liquidity needs and allow for cash pooling with Essilor International post acquisition.

Over the course of three years, internal audit report went from 24 comments to 4 minor findings. • Revamped standard cost process for all of Sierracin’s manufactured products. Added scrap / yield rates to the standards (scrap not included in standards when business was privately held). • Supported implementation of Dataflo ERP system in Sierracin’s Transparent Armor division. Previously, labor and indirect manufacturing costs were not included in the standards.
