[Panama Metro Line 5]Description: A Project about the construction of Metro Line 3 in Panama in cooperation with WSP and Dohwa Engineering for the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) and the Panama GovernmentRole: - Assisted engineers in data preparation using Excel to analyze the demands of users and costs. - Produced and Updated CAD drawings of metro line 3 in Panama by demonstrating 25 cross-sections of geological map- Aided examining a Design Project report by reviewing calculations and equations using ASSHTO LRFD guideline- Accomplished Feasibility Study Report / Interim Report / Final Report - Attended weekly meetings and explained the procedure of the work to WSP- Contributed to researching the geological and hydrological information in Panama

[PortLands Project]Description: PortLands is located about 5 kilometers south-east of downtown, located on the former Don River. It is a project creating a naturalized new river valley running through the Port Lands. The project involves building, new public spaces, roads and bridges, and utilities, as well as structures to control water flow and manage sediment debris.- Acquired knowledge of construction procedure including MTBM, HDD, Rigid Inclusions, Helical Piles, LTP, dry and wet utilities, and water main system by assisting field engineer and PM on site.- Updated Daily Site Report with detailed points including pictures of the site- Conducted 2 projects by coordinating the construction site including installation of water main system and installing LTP- Interacted with contractors and engineers on worksites directly, performing compaction testing, concrete slump, and air testing.- Performed Blue Beam to provide comments on CAD drawings- Presented a summary of on-site using PowerPoint in weekly meetings

[Panama Metro Line 3] - Acquired and performed Midas program (SAP 2000) to analyze the impacts on structures especially bridges with different types of loads. - Assisted engineers in reviewing Calculated Loads based on ASSHTO LRFD guidelines - Completed Design Reports and submitted to Panama Government [Additional Project - PPP Business Project] - Attended meeting and assisted engineers in introducing Korean PPP projects to Turkish company and Myanmar railway company. - Attained knowledge about BTO & BTL method which is needed for the cost estimation.
