General Duties• Specify and design PLC and HMI control panels including fabrication drawings and schematics.• Maintain PLC and HMI control panels including fabrication drawings and schematics created by others.• Create Installation Drawing sets including device location drawings, interconnection diagrams, andConduit/Cable Schedules for use in the construction and rebuild of various types of facilities including oilpipelines, bulk chemical, and glass manufacturing• Create and maintain “loop diagrams”.• Create and maintain “standard” schematic templates for use by engineering staff.• Assist engineering staff in detailed checks of drawing sets.

General Duties• Create and modify electrical layout drawings for electricians to use in the field.• Operate a label printer to provide electricians with wire labels to use in the field.• Assist the electricians by answering any inquiries given by them.• Create and modify Panel Schedules.• Read and interpret schematics to create drawings.
