Working with a dedicated PR team, with the sole goal of writing copy for many different stake holders and clients was great a great experience. However my bigger priority at Fletchers was running their internal newsletter, which began as a small, Auckland based document and I expanded it ti cover all topics for New Zealand and eventually Western Australia.Key Responsibilities: Established local and national media relationships, monitored client press coverage metrics(mention), ensured account executives were aware of all client press coverage and activities, creating and running the internal newsletter for the North Island and assisted in website and social media maintenance.

Assisting a small kickstarter to achieve a $150,000 goal was hard work but really helped me utilise skills from university in creating social media content and bulding catered media lists for so many different media sources.Key responsibilities: Independent research, contacting and creating media relations with journalists in New Zealand and overseas, creating a media list for market targets, creating and managing the social media, coverage reports. We reached the financial target.
