I've spent the biggest proportion of my career thus far at RWE npower, where I worked within the business division’s Transformation Team, in a role that sat within the operational business, and which evolved through the design and delivery of a dedicated suite of B2B systems; went on to encompass the activities around the integration of Yorkshire and Northern Electricity which npower acquired in 2002; through to more conventional BAU type change as the business reached steady-state following the integration.I moved to E.On Central Networks in 2007 to lead the implementation of a corporately significant project to introduce a new electricity Grid Control System, to manage the distribution network covering most of Central England - which we delivered on-time and on-budget - whilst still keeping the lights on!After being made redundant, following the WPD acquisition of Central Networks, I have been working as an independent Utilities Consultant in various BA / Project Management roles.Specialties: SCADA, ENMAC, PowerOn, Smart Grid, Electricity Distribution, Smart Metering, Project Management, Business & Systems Analysis, Oracle Migration, Utilities, Energy, Contract Management, Data Migration, UK Energy Market, Utility Billing Systems
