Enabled combat logistics by leading over 200 aircraft maintainers at the USAF’s largest forward deployed air mobility squadron. Directed C-17 Globemaster maintenance in support of multiple operations to include Op Allies Refuge. This honorable testament to America’s role in the world was the largest non-combatant evacuation airlift in history and saw the difficult end to a 20 year war in Afghanistan. My role on the ground saw the drawdown crescendo through the 17-day movement of 100,000 evacuees.

Competitive selection for an innovation consulting fellowship with BMNT allowed me to apply new and old skills in an environment tailored to drive results with federal entities and small business. I worked with experts in the venture field, academia, and federal innovation consulting. Big takeaways included understanding the need for bureau-adhocracies to grow and sustain organizational relevancy. Due diligence in technology investment selection is a skill that paralleled my work with small business partnerships and it was enormously valuable to see that in a different light. I served as the Executive Officer, 437th Maintenance Group, 437th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Charleston, SC. The Maintenance Group is responsible for maintaining 52 C-17's supporting DoD tactical airdrop, worldwide airlift, and aeromedical evacuation support. Additionally, the Maintenance Group oversees a budget of $32 million and develops long-range logistics support for Joint Base Charleston's flying activities.
