- All responsibilities from R&D Technician position were retained in the Development Chemist role. The following are the additional roles:- Manage formula approval process, which insures all required information are entered into our ERP system (ProductVision) and provided to production team-Perform Salt Fog Corrosion (ASTM B117) testing; including analysis of panels, record results and reporting results to customers -Oversaw and trained new R&D Technicians

-Develop new powder coatings based on customer requests and specifications-Communicate with customers and sales team to ensure the product is developed correctly and in a timely matter-Assist production team whenever a new project is being made. This includes any modifications as well as troubleshooting problems that occur on the production line-Learn and become familiar with an array of raw materials that are specific to powder coatings

- Assessing the quality and condition of the product to ensure it meets customer specification using a variety of testing methods.- Providing production with modification instruction when the product does not meet specification. This includes changes to the machine settings and raw material additions or subtractions. - Implemented new, company-wide ERP system into the Powder QC department by presenting and demonstrating the new system to my coworkers and manager as well as constructing standard operating procedures related to the department's responsibilities. This includes continued management over the QC department's portion of the system. - Inspecting Certificates of Analysis of all raw material before use by production.

- Performed required quality control analysis of incoming, manufactured and outgoing materials with authority to make acceptance, production adjustments, or rejection decision. - Recognized problems and carry out instrument maintenance, calibrations, quality control checks, solution preparations, and solution standardizations when necessary. - Typical tests and instruments used include: gas chromatography, various titrations, viscosity, pH, Karl Fisher titrations, flash point, bomb calorimeter, FTIR, NIR, and high pressure liquid chromatography.- Maintained a safe and organized laboratory at all times by following guidelines stated in the SOPs.

- Removed various aquatic weeds, mostly invasive, as well as other debris from lakefront properties. This was done by Diver Assisted Suction Harvesting. This process uses a diver is in the water manually feeding the weeds into a hose powered by a pump. The weeds are then sucked and distributed into bags where they can easily be removed and disposed of. - Recognizing different invasive plants and the proper way to remove them.- Performing general maintenance on the boats and tools.

- Performed lawn and landscape maintenance of main plant and pump stations with routine care such as weed whipping, lawn mowing, and spraying for weeds- Improved quality of primary tanks by grinding rust off of metal axis and repainting them - Replace multiple damaged parts to aeration tank piping- Learned to take pride in helping the community in any way possible
