BOLD is a leadership program that I helped develop as a way to build up bench strength for emerging leaders in Bank Operations at Regions. The program includes classroom and online training, as well as a senior management mentor, departmental rotations, and a community service project.

My responsibilities included leading and managing a team of Reconcilement specialists. We reconciled approximately 500 general ledger and 12-15 demand deposit (DDA) accounts for our Consumer, Commercial, Business Banking, and Credit Card portfolios. We were also responsible for compiling information for the quarterly Federal Call Report. Automation was a major focus during my tenure and we were able to automate the reconcilement of over 400 of the general ledger and DDA accounts we were responsible for.

I was the manager of the Birmingham cash vault. My responsibilities included leading a team of Vault tellers responsible for processing large commercial deposits. We were also responsible for preparing and processing cash orders for our branch network in Birmingham, Huntsville, and Montgomery.
