- Served as Acting National Security Advisor for a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC)- Prepared and staffed Senator for 43 SASC hearings and 136 meetings with the highest levels of DoD leadership, international allies, and national security experts- Prepared Senator for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to include drafting policy proposals, prep for markup and conference, analyzed chairman’s mark, and drafted committee and floor amendments.- Worked across the aisle with PSMs, NSAs, MLAs, and Fellows in majority and minority offices- Educated and informed personal staff regarding DoD and the Services- Coordinated projects across both the D.C. and state offices in order to support national security objectives as well as take care of constituents- Coordinated and consulted with State delegation, local government, the National Guard, and industry representatives for DoD, installations, equipment, and military constituent issues resulting in resources and authorities in support of state and national defense objectives.- Worked with national and state level organizations to maintain DoD funding for a critical joint exercise range that was at risk of closure, resulting in preservation of the range- Led a national security team consisting of LCs, a Fellow and two interns

- Executive Officer for the Director of U.S. Cyber Commands Plans and Policy (J5) Directorate.- Managed a diverse staff of 225 military, civilian and contractor personnel through all phases of plans, policies and partnership development resulting in increased warfighting capabilities - Won Commandant's Distinguished Writing Award at Joint Forces Staff College for a team paper titled “Why the United States Should Create a Dedicated Cyber Service”- Earned the Navy’s Information Warfare Officer (IWO) qualification becoming CYBERCOM’s first Navy pilot to earn the IWO qualification - Hand selected by Admiral Rogers as the Officer of the Quarter for command-wide leadership
