• Designed and implemented a management information system for small businesses and nonprofits in NYC;• Led business development efforts with community development organizations, small businesses and small nonprofits in underserved communities in the five boroughs;• Transformed a pilot project with one FTE and a budget of $85,000 into a flagship project of the institution with 7 FTEs and 6 consultants with a budget of over $800,000 in four years;• Ensured effective systems, processes and resources were in place to meet time-based goals;• Led a team of 7 FTEs through the iterative development cycle of planning, design, construction, internal and external testing, rollout, training and maintenance;• Initiate and build relationships with local partners and customers

Global

• Ghana (2003): Trained local staff of the American Chamber of Commerce in Accra in the principles of web design. Completed planning, design and construction of an online portal to enable the Chamber to foster bilateral trading relationships between the US and Ghana in accordance with the AGOA Act;• Armenia (2002): Designed and delivered curriculum to participants in key concepts of e-business to raise the level of knowledge in a region hit hard by the fall of the Soviet Union and its own isolation resulting from closed borders. Topics included principles in regulation, design and online marketing;• Grenada (2002): Designed a web portal to allow Grenadian microenterprises to share the costs and economy-of-scale benefits of e-commerce working with the Grenada Development Bank. The program trained 10 small business owners in concepts from a technical and process perspective;• Barbados & Grenada (2001): Developed and delivered workshops to disadvantaged small businesses struggling to stay competitive in their respective island economies. Topics included ‘Trends in e-business’; ‘Small Business Automation’; and ‘Internet Marketing for Small Businesses’.

Greater New York City Area

• Contributed to large scale projects to design & implement the first release of Mobile CRM software by SAP• Worked on a mobile sales force automation project with a Fortune 100 client on a global team based in New York, Boston and Waldorf, Germany. This project was the pilot project and first client release of the customer relationship management (CRM) module from SAP, a leading ERP software vendor;• Developed process requirements in order to align the solution architecture with the business objectives of the sales force team. The result increased efficiency in sales processes by providing mobile access to essential data, reducing time to complete daily tasks and increasing field knowledge;• Planned, designed, constructed, tested and implemented a reporting package to convey information about the results of technical testing activities to a distributed team. This project required development of a database schema, views and stored procedures; as well as the coding of a web-based front-end user interface to enable clients to conveniently access and manipulate real-time data.

Orlando, Florida Area

• Conducted a scheduling optimization analysis with Disney Vacation Club resorts in Orlando and Vero Beach, Florida;• As part of an independent senior project at Purdue University, conducted a statistical analysis project using SAS programming to assess the pros and cons of single line vs. multiple distributed queues as part of a redesign of a retail shop at Epcot Center.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

• Managed a task force of six equipment experts to design an improved factory tracking system. Led factory-wide communications efforts and training on the new system. The result was more accurate tracking of work-in-process, thus more accurate forecasting results for microcontroller production; • Created and maintained a simulation model to aid in the time-effective transfer of all factory equipment to Israel. Results of the simulation were a phased timeline for shipping each piece of equipment at specific times in order to meet demand for micro-controllers in the international market.
