I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Florida International University in 1994. I have been working as an accompanist at New World School of the Arts since 2000. As an accompanist at NWSA, I have had the honor of composing and performing music for many different dance concerts, choreographed by various faculty members. In addition to the work that I have done with various students and faculty, I have also accompanied numerous master classes for many different world renowned dance companies and choreographers, including The Alvin Ailey Dance Company, The Joffrey Ballet, The Merce Cunningham company, and many more. I have worked for The Joffrey Ballet’s annual Summer residency in Miami for several years, and have composed music for many of their student showcases. Dance Now Miami is another company that I have regularly provided accompaniment, and composed music for. In addition to my extensive work, working with dancers, I have a great deal of teaching experience. I have taught as part of after school programs at many different middle schools throughout Miami, as well as at churches, such as The Coral Gables Congregational Church, and The Unitarian Universalist Church in South Miami. I also have extensive experience as a performer with numerous bands, and have received a platinum album as a result of being featured on the title track of Julio Iglesias’ record “Noche De Cuatro Lunas”
