Worked as a member of a team that collaborated to design and deliver hardwareintegrated software solutions for acquiring, recording, and processing bathymetric andhydroacoustic data from the water. Helped design and maintain a software suite that integratedwith a large variety of live sonar and ship systems from underway vessels for data collection.Contributed to the development of a post-acquisition data processing software suite designed toaid hydrographers in the reviewing, editing, and filtering of the acquired data into specializeddeliverables, all done in C and C++. For each program, spent time constructing estimates,completing development of features, testing deliverables, and ensuring requirements were met.Personally spent time underway on surveys to acquire hands-on experience with the live systemand better understand the needs of hydrographers using the software, as well as traveled bothdomestically and internationally to install said systems.

Split time working as a member of a team that triaged and resolved software trouble reports on the AN/SPY-6 Air and Missile Defense Radar, as well as being given technical lead of a small team of engineers in designing and implementing specific requested features for the AN/SPY-6. Worked with systems engineers, architects, and software engineers from other teams to make sure that our newly designed solutions would integrate with the existing infrastructure.

Worked as a member of a team that collaborated to design and deliver training and simulationsolutions for many different systems and consoles, including the Advanced Tactical Data LinkSystem, several different iterations of the AEGIS Combat System, SSDS, CDLMS, the LCS-1,and the LCS-2. Designed Software Requirements Specifications as well as attendedRequirements Analysis Working Groups with U.S. Navy customers. Implemented front-endGUIs and C#/C++ back-end process communication for all replicated technologies.Worked as a member of a small team on the “Cold Start” process for many different projects,writing automated scripts designed to build up images of computers from a fresh reformat to IAcompliant systems.During these projects, mentored yearly incoming and returning interns and integrated them withthe teams and projects they would be working on.Traveled to installation sites located on U.S. Navy bases spread around the country to physicallyinstall, assemble, wire, network and smoke-test final deliveries and classrooms.
