I worked in education for 18 years as a teacher and a leader before joining the Scouts Association as their Growth Manager for London and East of England. I am passionate about providing opportunities for young people and was the founding Group Scout Leader for the 1st Trumpington Scouts in 2017. As a writer, I won the Write Mentor Children’s Novel Award in 2021 and have two plays published by Lazy Bee Scripts. I enjoy martial arts and have a black belt in ninjutsu and in December 2022, I was promoted to green belt in taekwondo. I enjoy slack-lining, scuba diving and camping with my family.
