They are also a key manufacturer of hydrophobic treated silica powders. As the Manufacturing Manager I managed the day to day operations and was responsible for scheduling production, floor management of three shifts, on time delivery, controlling costs and inventory, as well as providing commercial and technical support to customers. ACHIEVEMENTS:• Increased productivity by 33% in treated silica plant through scheduling and process change. • Reduced lead time from 2 weeks to 1 week on made to order defoamers by implementing min/max and re-order points for all finished products, raw materials, and intermediate base products. • 21M to 39M USD in increased annual sales post acquisition and relocation of Nottingham company. My responsibilities included, managing the day to day operations and on time delivery, controlling costs and inventory. Provide commercial and technical support to customers. Developing and implementing strategy to increase revenue.ACHIEVEMENTS• Coordinated with supervisors to plan activities for higher productivity on production site.• Organized business review meetings with senior management to improve performance continuously and qualitatively. • Monitored all site activities and day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
