I am directly responsible for the delivery of the the design, rules and procedures.Achievements:– Developed, drafted and consulted on improved Generator Performance Standards (GPS) for the Network Technical Code. This ensures renewable generators have the appropriate performance capability to operate the system securely at higher penetrations, therefore removing a barrier to achieving the Northern Territory Governments renewable target. The capacity forecasting and dispatch obligations included in the GPS have triggered the COAG Energy Council to request the Australian Electricity Regulator develop similar rules for the National Electricity Market.Duties:- Provide engineering mentorship to professionals to enhance System Control’s engineering capability.- Engage with external industry stakeholders appropriately to maintain effective relationships whilst managing Power and Water’s interests in reform activities such as implementation of the Northern Territory Electricity Market.- Other duties as per Power System Engineer; Show less
