I moved to Southeast Texas in 2008 after graduating from The Citadel to pursue my dream of getting into the boating industry. I quickly became one of the top salesman at the dealership I joined. Within 2 years I became Sales Manager of one of the top Yamaha dealers in the United States. We sold bass boats, bay boats and pleasure boats. I then went to work at Pete Jorgensen Marine as the Sales/Marketing Manager. I was responsible for all new boat/motor orders, yearly projections, marketing while staying within a budget, website design, and sales. We specialized in a more high end clientele while still servicing all of southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. Within my first full year with Pete Jorgensen Marine, we increased gross sales by over $1.5 million and increased profit margins as well. I am now the District Sales Manager for Evinrude and cover all of Texas and New Mexico. I am responsible for the growth of market share and dealers within my assigned territory. I work with an outstanding team across North America promoting the most dynamic outboard engine in production.
