I am a Network professional with over 10 years of progressive experience, a Telecommunications Engineering Technology Diploma, and a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology in Network Management. Currently employed at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. I am motivated and dedicated to my professional development and continuing education.After I graduated from the Telecommunications Engineering Technology program at NAIT, I went to work as a Network Specialist for ATCO I-Tek (later acquired by Wipro Limited). After consistent success in my expanding role, I was promoted to Senior Network Specialist. I was trusted to mentor and train junior team members. I acted as a key network resource on many complex projects for our clients from design to implementation to support after completion. In many cases these were holistic network services solutions, everything from routing and switching, wireless connectivity, access control, and voice services.For my next challenge I transitioned to NAIT as a Wireless Specialist. I worked primarily to improve the wireless network for all NAIT campuses. Coming back to NAIT as a member of the Network Services team was an exciting opportunity, moving from a strictly private corporate enterprise network to a higher education institute where we provided connectivity to everyone on campus. The team at NAIT, and the greater NAIT community of academic staff and students, made my time at there immensely enjoyable and rewarding personally and professionally.In my current role I am an Inside Solutions Expert for Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, for western Canada.
