Responsibility for the vision and operation of Cognosante’s Performance & Risk Management Department and its support units, including legal, performance, contracts, compliance, quality and privacy/security functions. As Chief Legal Officer, led a department that provided strategic support for all legal matters affecting Cognosante, including in the areas of corporate governance, government contracting, ethics, government relations/lobbying, labor/employment, benefits, intellectual property, real estate and litigation. Oversaw all legal aspects of the Company’s mergers and acquisitions program, including negotiation of transaction documentation, due diligence and integration activities. Provided full life-cycle support for the Company’s procurement and contract activities, from capture through contract negotiation and performance.
