As a Soil Research Assistant at the Shenzhen Ecology and Environment Bureau from October 2021 to December 2022, I led pivotal research to develop and refine methodologies for determining site-specific soil background values, enhancing the precision and application of environmental analysis. My role encompassed extensive fieldwork, where I was responsible for the meticulous collection of soil samples. This hands-on approach ensured the integrity and reliability of data that was instrumental in environmental assessments.My commitment to environmental excellence was demonstrated through my support in the refinement of China's next-generation national soil environmental regulatory policies, where I contributed to shaping sustainable practices. I actively assisted colleagues in thorough investigations of contaminated sites and was instrumental in integrating drone technology for environmental mapping and monitoring, thereby pushing the boundaries of traditional environmental research methods.Additionally, I managed the rigorous monthly reporting of global best practice regulations to the City Council, facilitating the adoption of advanced ecological practices within urban development plans. This role required keen attention to detail and a strong ability to convey complex information succinctly and accurately to stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making processes that supported the city's commitment to sustainable development and ecological stewardship.
