Overview:I have 10 years experience within the oil and gas industry. This was previously in the Upstream sector, particularly with providing technical support in early project phases. Including process engineering, facilities concept engineering, acquisition & divestment reviews, joint industry projects, and regulator studies.For my current role I have switched to the Downstream sector with Slovnaft & MOL Group R&D focusing on Advanced and Sustainable Technologies to support the Group 2030+ Sustainability Strategy. This involves investigation and assessment of alternative technologies and production pathways (of fuels and chemicals) that can be used as a basis for their project development and implementation.Areas of Expertise:- Knowledge of EU regulation (e.g. Fit for 55, ReFuel EU, & RePower EU) on downstream refining- Technical assessment of sustainable technology alternatives for fuel and chemical production e.g. chemical plastic recycling, use of 2nd generation biomass feedstocks, e-fuels etc- Integrated development planning - Establishing development value through option framing, generation, evaluation, and screening - Facilities concept generation and cost estimating (CAPEX, OPEX, ABEX) for Upstream facilities e.g. onshore, offshore, shallow/deep water, acid gas, heavy oil etc- Acquisition and divestment red flag reviews and cost & schedule forecasting
