A new position created to reinvigorate and redevelop the total Morrisons Market Street Customer proposition and experience.Over recent years, in a bid to maximise productivity and efficiencies to create a lower cost operating model, the Morrisons Market Street has subsequently lost some of the nostalgia, service and enterprising elements that gave customers a real tangible reason to shop at Morrisons.I have been positioned to develop and redefine the colleague training materials and apprenticeships, colleague and customer engagement, service and personalisation, environment and equipment and product offer, NPD and range. The culmination of these key pillars defining the USP for shopping at Morrisons

Positioned to head up the Morrisons Meat commercial proposition. Meat is regarded as one of the hardest categories in Morrisons to trade, due to our E2E operating model and complete integration from Farm to Fork.We process and move 18,000 Pigs, 8000 Lambs and 3000 Cattle per week across 3 abattoirs from Spalding to Turriff in Scotland, and use our packing facility in Winsford to create pre-packed meat products. 70% of Sales are traded from our Morrisons Meat counters and fixtures and 30% via our external sales team.Our aim is to balance the carcass and maximise our yields in what is a very low margin, commodity driven area to trade. More specifcially my remit covers retail sales and managing a trade plan that moves raw material in a way that works for customers but also works for our manufacturing teams, to ensure we have no surplus or decefits on individual cuts of meat, whilst maintaining a healthy margin in this very competitive sector.
