My experience working with special education students over the last seven school years has allowed me to develop the communication, leadership, and motivational skills that are needed for an intervention specialist teaching position. Through my years of teaching, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and ability levels. I have experience working with students diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and Social Emotional Disorders, along with many other disabilities. I believe that already having seven years of special education teaching experience, having earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education, along with my Masters of Arts, would make me the perfect candidate for a teaching position. In addition, the excellent rapport that I have established with students, parents, and staff, demonstrates that I have the interpersonal skills necessary for this type of position. I am a highly motivated person who is very hardworking. My organizational skills are excellent balancing my duties as a teacher while coaching two varsity sports.
