 Implemented the entire Corporate Safety and Quality manual for the new facility start-up. Consisting of 26 Safety and 12 Quality procedures. Executed the safety and quality manual training for the three facility managers. Implemented the corporate safety and quality KPIs’ and tracked their performance. Lead over 12 internal and external safety and quality audits to demonstrate compliance to local and federal regulations. Successfully met all customer requirements and received approval by all three major Oil & Gas companies to activate the facility for their use. Developed the training program and wrote over 20 safety and quality procedures that were necessary to achieve our targets in a fast-pace and challenging logistics industry. As well delivered over 100 training sessions in both English and Spanish to managers and work floor employees. Prepared and held eight management meetings and two quarterly reviews with corporate and local management to discuss and evaluate the facilities safety and quality performance. Determined opportunities for improvement and assigned action items.

 Certified as an ISO 9001:2008 internal auditor and performed 16 internal audits at all nine facilities in the US and Canada under the Petrochemicals business unit. I also served as the point of contact and audit lead for over 20 external compliance and certification audits Worked closely with operations to maintain and update over 24 of the facilities’ essential standard operating procedures. Developed safety and quality procedures as the necessity arose from the logistical or product handling requirements. Performed over 12 incident investigations with the collaboration of department heads, upper management, and work floor employees. Together we determined the Root Cause and assigned action items to correct the safety non-conformance.  I was awarded a management position at the completion of the two year management trainee program. Besides me there was only one other management position awarded out of the other 10 management trainees.

 Developed an accurate business inventory resulting in more effective and productive time management. Transferred and transformed the businesses record-keeping from manual logbooks to a digital program.

 Developed customer relationships by following active leads, outside networking, and cold calling prospective customers in order to increase sales. Following up with previous customers to ensure complete satisfaction and build rapport in order to gain their repeat and referral business. Setting appointments and leading the customers through the beginning of the sales process to closing the sale.

 Analyzing and prioritizing what needs to be prepared and ready first allowing a smooth transition of shifts. Multi-tasking between serving the customer, preparing what is needed, and cleaning the establishment
