Proud to say that 2022 was a stellar year. I am still both GM and Sales guy for Candlewood. Even though we were in the last year before of $3.5M Renovation which we desperately need, we still posted a record year. 7 months were records in revenue and we cracked the $2M ceiling for annual revenue for the first time in the 12 year history of the property. We also set a new record in average ADR which was over a dollar and up almost $10 over the previous record which was 5 years ago. Our total occupancy was the 2nd highest it has ever been for the year.

10.01.17 I am proud to say we just set another record. This past Razorback football weekend was the largest 2 day revenue (weekend) producer in the history of the hotel.06.02.17 Well I am excited, we have set another milestone: In the history of the hotel we have never climbed above the 80s in percentage of occupancy. For the month of May in 2017 we hit 91.81%. We sacrificed a few dollars in ADR, but I was anticipating that - REVPAR is also up over $10 from the same month last year.10.14.16 I am happy to report that we had a spectacular September and we were able to eclipse the $200k number. This means 2016 will be the first year in the history of the hotel that we have had 2 months over that number. September also saw REVPAR increase and and ADR was up almost $3 over last September. Update 07.19.16: Loving my job and business is good!! My goal is 40% extended stay (guests who are in house over 7 days) and this property has never seen consecutive months over 18%. We are now averaging 39%. Also, May 2016 we had a room revenue over $200k. This property has only eclipsed $200k 2 other times in it's history and one of those times was last Sept. I plan to do it twice this year, which will be another milestone.Update 01.10.16. Year ending 2015, after my first full year as Sales Director, the numbers look great. 2015 compared to 2014: total room revenue is up 13%, overall occupancy is up 4.71% and ADR is up $5.91. Generally, I am responsible for Sales and Marketing of the rooms in our hotel. I am constantly trying to improve our profitability by maximizing our ADR (Average Daily room Rate) and Occupancy. I provide long range feedback to the GM to help set our rates by looking out into the future and predicting highs and lows based on local events, our competition, groups booking stays with us, time of the year, holidays, etc. I maintain a strong social media presence to try and stay in front of our existing and potential guests.

This year, I am also the PA announcer for some of the Arkansas Natural's Baseball games.I have owned an operated Music in Motion for over 25 years. I like to say I am a party in a box, just add electricity. I specialize in Wedding Receptions, but I also do Proms, Corporate Christmas Parties - really any event in need of sound or lights. I can do any party from a small 30 person reception to a large 2000+ Christmas Party. The biggest benefit to hiring me is my experience. I know how to set the room to optimize the sound and light. The image can be your name, the name of the event, a picture - whatever.

This was my first post out of college. I went through Perdue's extensive training program which put me in every phase of the poultry process. I spent time in the hatchery, feed mill, on the farms, in the plant - both processing then packaging, rode with a delivery driver in the market, then spent time with sales reps at the retail level. My first market was Pennsylvania. After many successes with placement and sales, I was promoted the New York City Market which was the crown jewel. I then sold both ice pack and tray pack into the city.
