I retained this position for more than 10 years and my duties evolved alongside the company.As webmaster, I managed the website design, functionality and asset flow through the BLOX Content Management System in partnership with TownNews, and oversaw myriad other projects involving third-party platforms such as CitySpark, Friends2Follow, PageSuite, AdButler and Google Ad Manager. I established analytics tracking with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, where I created funnel goals and custom dashboard reports that aggregated marketing metrics for the Sales Department.As copy editor, I vetted hard news and editorials, as well as sports, business and lifestyle stories. Screening included editing for style—a blend of colloquialism and the AP rulebook—as well as spelling, subject-verb agreement, grammar, consistency, syntax and objectivity.
