• Responsible for legal oversight of daily operations at Alere’s San Diego campus of 1000+ employees, including the areas of compliance, human resources, manufacturing, supply chain, financial and commercial operations.
• Oversaw domestic and international M&A activity for toxicology and other divisions of Alere; led target selection process, financial analysis and term sheet negotiation; drafted purchase documentation, supervised due.
• Negotiated and closed over 20 M&A deals in various areas of the healthcare industry ranging from $1 million to over $200 million.
