I am a fifth-year architecture student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, minoring in environmental studies and sustainability. I have a strong interest in sustainable architecture practices, especially the use of engineered timber. I had the chance to study abroad in Scandinavia, learning about their attention to detail and materiality in their architecture and their focus on public transportation at an urban design level. At NJIT, I have been involved in multiple organizations, including the AIAS Learning Culture Committee, the school's Learning and Teaching Culture Committee, and the AIAS NJIT chapter of Freedom by Design.Relevant coursework: life cycle assessment in design, passive house, sustainability policy & practice, sustainable materiality, morphology and typologies of urban housing
