The Advisory Board on Transparency and Information Management (ACOI) values a democracy in which everyone can actively participate and where everyone can follow what the government is doing. This means that everyone should have access to the information held by the government. The board aims to be a driving force for this transparency. The tasks of the ACOI are determined by the Open Government Act.My focus areas are:⁃ Improving collaboration between the government and society;⁃ Proactive disclosure by the government;⁃ Proper handling of Open Government Act (Woo) and mediation requests.

In addition to my tasks as Manager of Hospitality & Facility, since April 2022, I have collaborated with HR to develop a DE&I policy, organize DE&I training sessions, and conduct lectures to bring the A'DAM community closer together and help it thrive.As an HR officer at A'DAM, I received on-the-job training in various aspects of the HR field, such as conducting absence interviews and understanding the Gatekeeper Improvement Act, ARBO legislation, setting up employee satisfaction surveys (WTOs), and preparing a Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E). I was also responsible for further developing the onboarding and training of new employees. Additionally, I drafted contracts, conducted salary negotiations, and managed a significant portion of the recruitment and selection process, including writing job descriptions.

As the leader of a team of 15 permanent employees and a flexible pool of about 18 employees in the dynamic environment of the A'DAM Tower in Amsterdam, I bear the ultimate responsibility for facilities management, such as establishing protocols for BMI management and designing and implementing the emergency response plan (BHV). Additionally, I specifically focus on ensuring general and social safety, diversity, and inclusion within the A'DAM Tower.One of the aspects of this role that motivates me the most and gives me great pleasure is coaching and mentoring new employees. I monitor the progress of everyone on the team daily, serving not only as their manager but also as a confidant for anyone who needs it.In addition to my managerial tasks, since 2022, I have collaborated with HR to develop a DE&I policy, organize D&I training sessions, and conduct lectures to bring the A'DAM community closer together and help it thrive.Moreover, besides my DE&I and management responsibilities, I successfully organized the A'DAM Flower Tower boat for the Amsterdam Pride last year.

As a key player, I navigated between various layers of the company, ensuring clear communication between customers and the management. I served as the link between the company and its customers, ensuring that the company could always respond to the needs and wishes of the customers.

Managing the building with all associated facility tasks: Managing the fire/evacuation system, keeping escape routes clear, maintaining the fire alarm system, managing contractual agreements with tenants in the building, managing communication between the facility team and tenants, and having ultimate responsibility during emergencies.

The first point of contact for guests, the representative of the tower and restaurants, and I manage all restaurant and event reservations.- Administrator of the fire alarm and evacuation system/ Certificate obtained on 02-02-2018.- Emergency response officer for incidents involving alcohol and drugs/ Certificate obtained in 10-2018.

As an all-round service employee, I fulfilled various roles, ranging from host to bar supervisor to emergency response officer in the venue. In this position, I served as the first point of contact for the public and actively encouraged collecting feedback. This feedback was discussed daily during the daily meeting, allowing our team to proactively respond to the needs of all guests at ITA.

Guiding clients with addictions through CBT therapy, providing additional lectures, workshops, and therapeutic tools. This internship was conducted in English. Ixande is located in Cape Town, South Africa.
