CurrentWorked with GIS, relational, and graph databases to design and document an ETL process to convert utility GIS data into a real, working distribution system model in OpenDSS. Developed methods and strategies to synthesize missing and incorrect data to tackle the "GIGO" problem and create a more accurate model.Performed extensive troubleshooting and validation of DSS files, graph and relational data, and the underlying model. Leveraged AI tools to rapidly generate dozens of one-off scripts for individual testing and repairs of the graph database. Collaborated with PNNL to design and implement tools for static and dynamic hosting capacity analysis, impact analysis for PV and EV projects, and grid upgrade costing analysis. Worked with front end developers to ensure the right useful data is provided to the user, while troubleshooting issues that arose with the backend.Developed a method to use existing synthetic building load databases and real estate data to provide highly representative, granular load data even in the absence of AMI, allowing for Dynamic Hosting Capacity Analysis up to 8760 hours of the year.
