-Planned and organized activities for the youth, including age appropriate games, songs, and field trips.-Responsible for independently planning one themed weekly schedule or more, depending on length of time overseas.-Lead songs to promote youth independence.-Worked together with other counselors to establish weekly schedules, resolve schedule conflicts and foster team-building.-Worked to establish an atmosphere of mutual respect and collaboration among counselors to form the greatest quality of programming possible for youth.

-Supplied assistance for basic hygiene-Assisted in carrying out activities and events according to the season, including annual dances promoting Easter Seals of Iowa-Provided overnight care ranging from 8 to 10 individuals (depending on the number of counselors in the cabin) for a wide range of people with physical, mental and handicap disabilities
