- Designed, integrated and conducted tests for the full de-icing system on a scale model aircraft wing.- Compiled a list of thermal interface materials (TIM) for use in full plane de-icing system, and designed andconducted experiments to test for the optimal TIM.- Designed fasteners and connectors to be used in the final market-ready system.- Created a Solidworks model of an aircraft to be used for thermal simulations in COMSOL.- Continued work for integrating the final wiring of the system into a Solidworks model.

- Created an engineering tool GUI from MATLAB to operate a rate table to be used companywide for testing.- Solved sizing problem experienced in all IMU units to be utilized in next software update.- Simulated the output of an IMU on an imperfect calibration surface in MATLAB to better understand the causes ofnoise in the system.- Analyzed the calibration environment of IMU’s using accelerometers by observing the frequency domain and PSDof the signals received.- Created a testing GUI to be officially released to the company for a new calibration method for IMU’s.

- Designed a heating stage with a team to run scratch and indentation tests on samples of shale to find material properties at different temperatures for use in fracking.- Created a live feed of temperature readings on the stage in MATLAB using an Arduino.

- Designed and implemented with a team member an experiment to test for the variability in the positions of sEMG sensors located in a forearm strap for use in prosthetics.- Created a MATLAB GUI to display given data sets in an organized manner.
