In 1998, Sean starting his career as a broadcast engineer which led him to design and build some of the largest broadcast studios during the High-Def boom. With the HD installation demands so high, Sean worked as an engineer at Disney, Direct TV, NBC, FOX, ABC, Deluxe, Technicolor and then Ascent Media. While working at Ascent Media, Sean decided to challenge his creative side and take a position as an editor and motion graphics designer. Within the first year, he then took over as the Edit / graphics manager and created workflows for all Disney and FOX projects that were in-house. In 2007, Sean teamed up with his wife Devyn to create a full creative post-production house called Silo FX. With Visual effects, animation, motion graphics and interactive content leading the charge for Silo’s services, this awarded them with clients such as, Disney, Hasbro, Riot Games, Discovery, A&E, STX, etc. Silo’s team has worked on titles such as Hardcore Henry, League of Legends, GI-JOE Resolute, Bering Sea Gold, Deadliest Catch, and The Great Alaskan Race.Sean and his wife’s love for film inspired them to open a production business called Hartland Pictures in2018. The idea for Hartland was to create all movies in-house from concept, script and straight to production. Within the first week of opening, their first film Vanity was funded. Now they have 4 more films in the queue in pre-production. 2020, year of the pandemic. With the halt of production, Sean felt the need to adapt to the “New Normal” and think of a 3rd business. He was watching his actors at home in quarantine filming themselves on Social Media at home dancing, singing or even just talking to the camera. Sean decided to open “Gold Label Society” and create individual “white label” apps for celebrities, influencers, athletes, politicians, etc. This would be a tool to help build a fan community around the individual brand. Now Sean has a full design and back-end development team and is in full production provided these mobile apps.
