About Sean Lorman

I am a full stack software engineer with a passion for innovation, optimization, and creativity. After spending many years in the hospitality industry, I longed for a different challenge that I could both incorporate in my work life and my personal life. It only took attending a free programming class one Thursday night at my public library to decide that I wanted to become a developer. It was this confidence that lead me to attend the Full-Time Software Engineering Immersive program through Hack Reactor. In my time at Hack Reactor, I worked on many projects using JavaScript, React, Express, Node.js, AWS, Docker, and many more. The excitement that I felt after that night is one that I still hold and take in to every project I work on. My love for programming comes from the constantly new things to learn in order to stay ahead of the competition. Every day can be a new learning experience or a new problem to solve and overcome. When I am not coding, you can find me hiking trails or dreaming about going camping with my friends. I will also lend out a helping hand to anyone interested in learning how to code!
