Drama Australia is the national association for drama in education. In my role as Director of Communications I:• developed strategies (including e-commerce) for and oversees the management of the Drama Australia website.• liaised with State and Territory member associations to maintain accurate information for our website hosting for their individual website pages• liaised with Drama Australia Business/Admin Manager regarding regular updating of website• moderated information being posted on the website, ensuring its accuracy, relevancy and consistency with Drama Australia policies, aims and objectives• liaised with the website hosting company• oversaw and provided support to Board members regarding uploading of information pertaining to their portfolios• liaised with Board members to ensure accurate and up-to-date information relating to their portfolios and availability online• worked with the Director of Finance to develop and maintain website budget • reported to the Board regularly • edited, maintained, posted and managed all social media pages and platforms and oversaw their terms of use by the board and by friends of Drama Australia and our membership.

Co-writer of the last Senior Drama Syllabus in the former QCE system in Queensland. This included syllabus development and resource development and assisting with implementation. I also presented at Drama Queensland conferences around syllabus implementation and also published in journals and newsletters.

This role began my Middle Management journey (officially - however I had been a coordinator for many years before this). I managed and led Drama, Dance, Visual Art, Music and Instrumental Music for that year. I also Project led a combined schools project called "X-LD: A Water Story" which saw 9 schools including mine present Drama together in a professional theatre space at Gardens Theatre QUT Brisbane. It was based on the theme of "water" and how precious it was then due to Brisbane experiencing its worst drought in memory and our dams were almost empty.

Sole drama teacher in a beautiful rural school. Directed productions such as "Juice" by Stephen Davis and student devised collages such as "BYO Choices" which through a RADF grant and Esk Shire Council funding turned into a professional short film shot at various locations throughout the community called "Drugs, Lies Tanya and Chloe" which served as a social and community film warning against the dangers of recreational drug use in regional and rural youth communities.
