Sean Corrigan is a strategic advisor to The Walt Disney Company, having served previously as the head of the company's Corporate Strategy and Business Development group from 2018 until May 2024.During that time, Sean managed corporate strategic planning, with responsibility for identifying and developing growth opportunities across the company’s businesses and geographies, as well as executing all merger, acquisition, investment, joint venture and divestiture transactions globally. Sean also oversaw corporate innovation, with responsibility for identifying relevant emerging technologies and incubating innovative new businesses through various programs, including the Disney Accelerator.Prior to joining Disney, Sean worked for more than a decade as an investment banker, most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in its Global Media & Telecom Group in New York. He began his career at the investment bank Montgomery Securities in San Francisco.Sean currently serves on the Alumni Board of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and, prior to that, served on its Corporate Advisory Board. He also has served on the board of directors of multiple privately-held companies in the media/tech/sports sectors.
