You know, since I was young I wanted to make an impact in this world. And the smaller I felt, the larger I wanted that impact to be. I've had the opportunity to work on some really interesting projects and be part of someone changing their life in a really meaningful way. And since I am a freelancer and I achieved sovereignty and I know how valuable that is--giving that to someone else is a nice feeling. Watching them turn that into a greedy enterprise where they devour their competition and mistreat the people who helped them get there is probably the biggest disappointment of doing business. There's plenty of room for everyone here.Being a freelancer has been enriching, and I am grateful for that. Today, I have completed over 85 contracts and am one of the top rated freelancers on Upwork. In my choice to stay small, I have enabled access to my talents to people who would of never had the means to hire an agency. I've helped people reach short term and long term goals, goals like designing and developing a website with a web presence that would allow small companies to stand next to giants and look pretty good. And goals like having a SaaS solution that would be better than the status quo. Together, these companies and I have raised the bar over and over again and I thank them, a hundred times for that chance.I do my best and I hope that I can influence others to do theirs too.
