Worked primarily with R&D and NPI, learning the product line and testing capabilities at the facility. One of the first projects I completed was shadowing technicians and creating training procedures to run the test stands. I learned the basics of 5S and implemented an organized storage system for the research center. I built many pre-existing coolers in software and ran tests on them to create a database of strength files for better prediction of life cycle analysis. I also worked with multiple departments to create and implement an online lesson learned database for tracking of accomplishments.

Collaboration in a team environment with co-workers, vendors, and customers. Designed a new product (pipe away adapter) to satisfy customer needs and specifications. Analyzed cost of in-house heat treatment operations for potential outsourcing. Performed drawing corrections based on customer and shop feedback.

Create, build, and execute test plan to determine UV dechlorination ability. Redesign and construct cleaning skids to be smaller, lighter, and easier to maneuver. Work with vendors to build and quote custom stainless steel tanks and steam heat exchangers. Gain experience in the field by attending training seminars and doing ride-alongs with service technicians.

Receive part shipments and organize them so all materials are prepared before assembly. Move, assemble, and wrap equipment. Clean shop and complete maintenance tasks. Perform general inventory of parts held in shop. Create training videos and burn to CD's for future use.
