Wellness and Performance

•Work directly with Director/Associate Athletic Director•Develop and execute inceptive launch of Personal Training Program•Solely operate and manage Personal Training Program and funding•Organize and plan first annual Wellness Fair with 30+ community vendors•Responsible for interviewing/hiring/training/supervising/scheduling/evaluating staff•Coordinate/schedule facilities for rental/fundraising groups/athletic teams/academic classes/student and community groups•Allocate funds, account budgets, create handbooks•Supervise facility operations as well as satellite facilities (fields, hockey rink/tennis courts, recreational courts, multi-purpose gymnasium, batting cages, swimming pool)•Purchase, repair equipment•Plan and deliver comprehensive programming for the university community (educational seminars, wellness events, fitness challenges, incentive programs, group exercise and personal training initiatives, instructional programs and special activities)•Collaborate with departments across campus in Student and Academic Affairs to create and execute unique initiatives and programs•Partner with campus groups (Living Learning Community) •Partner to create Let’s Move Salem!, an interactive/educational community fair•Partner with Wellness U to assist employees in achieving their wellness goals•Collaborate with vendors from the community to travel to facility and offer services•Assess performance using CAS standards•Deliver informational presentations to large groups (100+) of transfers/parents of freshmen•Deliver informational meet-and-greet sessions to prospective and accepted students•Present facility to Admissions Ambassadors •Create and deliver unique presentations to student groups, including Student Success Series for FYS•State-wide conference planning (MARS)•Develop and implement program for Women’s soccer/hockey teams •Work directly with members, clients, vendors to meet needs and ensure satisfaction•Manage and assess risk
