• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware issues with company IT equipment including laptops, desktops, printers, iPhones and iPads;• Work with outside vendors to resolve issues;• Support end users both locally and remotely, across different time zones and different countries;• Evaluate and install patches to maintain security of systems on a corporate network;• Create user profiles in Active Directory and establish mailboxes in Exchange 2010; • Assist in server administration in a mixed version environment (Windows Server versions 2003, 2008 and 2012);• Assist in support of Avaya VoIP system;• Adhere to corporate IT guidelines regarding security and standardization;• Create and maintain training and network documentation;• Monitor network files and ensure proper backup procedures are followed;• Maintain IT inventory, and work in conjunction with departments throughout the organization, and the IT Manager, to specify and plan for hardware needs.

Responsible for recognizing, researching, isolating and resolving information systems problems. Coordinate referrals to appropriate technical, professional or service personnel for appropriate services, repairs, training, and follow-up. Responsible for preparing new and/or maintaining existing documentation. May serve as a technical resource to LAN users. Assist with end-user questions and problems. Performs LAN/hard disk back-ups, formats disks, provides printer support and may replace toner cartridges, clear paper jams and load paper.Address needs of corporate users in an expedited fashion. Provide single point of support for executive level personnel. Provides project input as it applies to hardware configuration and hardware delivery and assists in the implementation of such plans.
