Iroquois Gas Transmission System (IGTS), New York: Process lead for project in support for engineering, environmental, procurement & construction management (EPCM) services to Iroquois Gas Transmission System, Inc (Iroquois) for the Enhancement by Compression (ExC) Project in New York and Connecticut. Developed process model, PFDs and P&IDs for four compression sites including compressor and cooling requirements. Conducted detailed hydraulic evaluation for each station.

Shell Lubricants (HLP), Galena Park, TX: Process Lead for project to identify hydraulic bottlenecks for existing pumping systems. Project to implement new recycle piping and size new PCV for each system. Responsible for developing solutions to pigging operations, instrument air system and tank venting.

Boardwalk Aethon Meter Station, Houston, TX: Process Lead for grassroots project to construct a receipt meter station to deliver gas from Aethon’s new Amine Treatment Facility to Gulf South’s 12-inch Index 99 and future 30-inch Index 99L pipelines. Developed new PFD’s and P&ID’s in support of the new gas metering and regulator skids. Provided as-built support to existing facilities in support of new tie-ins for new scope. Provided process support for all mechanical packages. Participated in project PHA, including implementation of any findings from the analysis.Boardwalk Index 99 Project, Houston, TX: Process Lead for project to demolish existing check measurement, regulation, and separation in the Magasco yard and construct a tie-in to the existing Index 99 pipeline, future provisions for the Index 99L pipeline tie-in, and OPP skid to protect Index 129 from Index 99 / 99L. Developed new PFD’s and P&ID’s in support of the new gas metering and regulator skids. Provided as-built support to existing facilities in support of new tie-ins for new scope. Provided process support for all mechanical packages. Participated in project PHA, including implementation of any findings from the analysis.

Shell Lubricants (HLP), Galena Park, TX: Process Lead for project in support of agreement between Shell Lubricants and John Deere to provide specific John Deere requirements for six new fluids, six new additives, John Deere specific small packaging. Developed new PFD’s and P&ID’s in support of the new storage and pumping systems. Modified existing PFD’s and P&ID’s. Provided process support for all mechanical packages, including pumps and tanks. Participated in project PHA, including implementation of any findings from the analysis.

Member of joint venture to provide construction management services for a Ziegler alcohols unit expansion to produce an additional 140 kta of Ziegler distribution alcohols plus 33 kta of targeted C6 through C20 alcohol and alumina co-product in Lake Charles, LA.+ Provided process support at construction site.+ Maintained P&IDs through the change management procedures to incorporate as-built changes.+ Walked down construction complete systems for turnover to client.+ Provided process support to requests for information (RFIs) from construction contractors.+ Managed the completion of 100+ tie-ins incorporating the newly constructed Ziegler unit to the existing Ziegler unit.

Modular expansion of the Odoptu onshore production facilities will achieve 200 MSCFD gas injection, 100 kbd water injection, and 55 kbd oil production.Worked with Field generated change requests to update As-Built drawings. Generated Process Change Notifications for Management of Change procedures.Conducted well study for water production to supply utility and potable for SWS facilities. Provided process information pertinent to water contract.

The Cassia Compression Project consists of a Greenfield Compression Platorm (Cassia C), 90 m bridge connecting to the Existing Cassia B hub. Scope also includes Brownfield modifications to Cassia B to accommodate the high pressure gas from Cassia C.While assigned to the BP Cassia Compression project, was responsible for Process responsibilities for the Condensate System, Chemical Injection Systems and the Open and Closed Drain Systems. Specific scope included the design of:Condensate System - Developed condensate collection system including export of condensate to onshore facilities. System included Condensate Drum, Export Pumps and Vapor Ejector.Open and Closed Drain Systems - Developed Open and Closed Drain facilities. Open Drain facility was separated into hazardous and non-hazardous systems and include oil separation before discharge overboard. Closed Drain system also performed as the LP Flare Knock Out DrumFlare - Developed flare system for 1,200 MMSCFD compression platform to include knock out drum and flare tip sizing with John Zink.Chemical Injection - Developed chemical injection packages to support natural gas and condensate systems (corrosion protection) along with water treatment systems. Worked in conjuction with BP Process Engineers and BP Operations personnel. Performed checking of equipment datasheets and P&ID development. Was responsible for the organization and issuance of multiple issues of 65 P&IDs through Coreworx.

Modular expansion of the Odoptu onshore production facilities will achieve 200 MSCFD gas injection, 100 kbd water injection, and 55 kbd oil production.Process Lead for development of new water disposal well for excess produced water along with other waste water sources. Development included area classification for existing Drilling Group tent enclosure, piping tie-in to existing produced water system, P&ID development, well location determination and interface agreement development.Development of debottleneck study to increase production rates from 55,000 bpd of oil production to 80,000 bpd oil production. Work included equipment rating to new flow rates, line size and control valve evaluation, instrument range analysis and pipeline evaluation for transfer.Developed raw water system for South Well Site to provide potable water and technical water for drilling support. The raw water system required raw water analysis along with required equipment to treat raw water, distribution system and multiple reservoir analyses including water draw limitations.

Member of joint venture new refinery project providing engineering for Waste Water Treatment Unit on a lump sum basis+ Developed P&IDs for Waste Water Treatment Unit+ Completed Study comparing multiple water treatment proposals. Proposals included an alternate High Efficiency Reverse Osmosis (HERO) system with water softening and traditionally operated reverse osmosis unit with ultrafiltration. + Completed study comparing air cooling and a dedicated cooling water system for the Brine Concentrator Condenser as part of a Zero Liquid Discharge requirement.

Member of project to provide Process Engineering support to several existing Marathon Oil refineries+ Completed pre-feasibility study and estimate for new Natural Gasoline Hydrotreater unit including Naphtha Hydrotreater Section, Stripper Section, Splitter Section, Deisopentanizer Section and Isomerization Section for Class 5 estimate including equipment sizing and drawing development.+ Completed Ground Flare study determining expected performance during flare row outages including individual PSV performance.+ Completed study to update HYSYS process simulation and Heat and Material balance based on new catalyst selection for Gasoline Desulfurization Reactors.

Member of project to develop 42 KBD Flexicoking Unit for Zhonghai Petrochemical (Yingkou) Co. Ltd. in Yingkou, Liaoning, PR China+ Completed tower sizing datasheets, including tower internals (downcomer sizing, tray spacing, chimney tray sizing and surge and holdup volume), meeting ExxonMobil Design Practices and General Practices along with Fluor criteria.

Member of project to develop West Qurna I oil field with an objective of 900K bpd eventually increasing production to 2.5 million bpd+ Developed hypochlorite generation package to treat raw water to include sketches, calculations, and vendor evaluation. Conducted detailed analysis and cost comparison of hypochlorite generation system with onsite storage.+ Developed water injection quality analysis for compatibility of differing water types.+ Conducted analysis of water injection system and reservoir characteristics including water hammer/surge analysis on water injection system+ Provided evaluation of filter usage and cost analysis for pipeline pigging operations. + Provided process evaluation of Vendor contract proposals+ Developed and evaluated water injection lease package including hydraulic analysis, surge possibilities, inlet submergence and daily performance of water treatment system. Member of project performing pre-FEED and FEED services for a major revamp of three refineries in Kuwait to produce ultra-low sulfur distillates to meet Year 2020 specifications+ Developed dedicated Diesel Hydrotreating Unit elevated flare including Flare Gas Recovery Unit.+ Developed dedicated high- and low-pressure Hydrocracking Unit elevated flares including Flare Gas Recovery Unit.+ Flare systems required knockout drums, water seal, elevated flares and radiation radii to be designed.+ Development of elevated flares using HYSYS Flarenet including Brzustowski's and Sommer calculation methods+ Responsible for Process Drawings including internal and client reviews and HAZOPs.
